Suburban Women's OR

You've seen my newborn work in the Maternity Wards of Baptist Hospital East and Norton Suburban Hospital. Now check out the REAL WOMEN campaign I shot for the new Women's OR at Norton Suburban. The women I shot are employees of Norton - nurses, administrator's and family members. We had such a great time and the photos turned out just as we had hoped.

It's been a great year at Dede Holman Photography and we have found the need to expand our studio once again. We are taking over the space upstairs from our current studio to better serve our clients. Please pardon our mess while we are making the transition.

Your Viewing Sessions will now be conducted in the new upstairs space and some of your shoots will be there, too. We are really excited about our expansion and excited to hear what you think of our new digs!

Julie has a dynamic personality, so we used bold colors and bright, fun surroundings to capture her mood on film. Life's a Beach!!

We just returned from a family vacation to Hilton Head Island. We had a fantastic time! Check out some of these fun and candid images I got of Ethan and Hattie on the beach.

Hiking with the Holmans

At the end of June, on our way to the beach, we camped and hiked in the Great Smoky Mountains. Ethan had requested a "real" camping trip and was clearly more excited than Hattie, who, in this picture, is litterally yelling, "NO PICTURES!" It was a fun couple of days and a great way to start our family vacation.

Sarah ROCKS!!!

MEET SARAH: Cellist, Track Star and Photo Diva Extraordinaire!! The many sides of Sarah’s fun personality really enlivened my creativity. Sarah brought her prom dress and her track cleats, so we decided to put the two together and we got some awesome shots. Check out the shot on the light table where I convinced her to jump – brave girl! Although we were all having an amazing time, we wrapped up the indoor shoot and headed to the Mellwood Arts Center to get some outdoor images. The Arts Center is very eclectic - just like Sarah. It was fun to see how the personality of the location and the personality of the subject matched so well. Willing to be daring one more time, Sarah jumped on some nearby train tracks and allowed me to capture some truly unique images. These are only a few highlights from Sarah’s shoot.

Happy Father's Day

Father's Day is just around the corner. What a perfect time to start thinking about what to get the special man in your life. A great way to show your appreciation to your husband for being such a great father is to bring the kiddos into the studio and have them photographed with their Dad's favorite things. Be it Dad's neck tie and shoes, golf clubs, running shoes or hobby related items. Dad will be sure to get a big kick out of his Biggest Fans wearing or using his items. Miller Vacation 2008

I have just returned home from Sanibel Island, FL where I took a week long vacation with my side of the family, The Millers. Although I had a wonderful time I am glad to be back home and back to work. Relaxation was not obtained, especially with a total of four children along, but it was great fun spending quality time with the family. Here are some photos from an evening at the beach.

New Beginnings

At the end of March I had the pleasure of visiting Craig's cousin and her newborn baby boy at Baptist Hospital. While there I took the opportunity to take a few photos to capture the beginning of this precious life. Welcome to Dede Holman Photography. We have started the following Blog to help keep our clients up to date on the happenings around the studio.
